How you can help - Get involved!

Become a Pageant Member
For as little as £4 a year for a child and £8 for an adult, you can become a member of Pageant. The nominal charge covers our administration expenses, so that everything donated for sponsorship or projects can reach its target in The Gambia. (membership details) Pageant members have their own members page.

Sponsor a Gambian Child's Education
It can cost you as little as £80 per year to enable a child from a poor Gambian family to continue with their education, when without this help they might have to leave school. The entire amount of your donation is sent directly to the child concerned. Pageant Ethical Gift Tokens
Why not give a Pageant Ethical Gift to celebrate a significant event like a birthday or anniversary. There is a range of ethical gifts starting at £5, which you can donate to schools, children and villagers in The Gambia. During the two months leading up to Christmas, we supply our gift tokens complete with a Pageant Christmas card. See our list of gifts or contact us by email for more information.

Raise money with a sponsored challenge
Several Pageant Members have taken part in various types of challenge, and have donated some or all of their sponsorship money to Pageant. In 2004 Chris Hyde and some friends completed the Three Peaks Challenge (more details). Pageant benefited from the fundraising efforts of four teams in the 2006 Plymouth-Banjul Challenge and one team in the 2005 Amsterdam-Dakar Challenge. (See summaries of their stories here). There are several teams in the current 2007 Plymouth-Banjul Challenge who are going to help Pageant. Links to further information are on our Challenge Page.
